Speaking Engagements

Sylvie is currently looking into private and intimate events where she would be able to share her story. Sylvie is following God's guidance on how best to share her testimony. Sylvie is asking God to guide her to the right opportunities who will embrace what Sylvie has experienced in her life and its various miracles and how this should be communicated.

May 29, 2026 - 9th Annual Mental Health Gala
(supporting CHEO Mental Health Services)

Sylvie will be attending the 9th Annual Mental Health Gala evening on May 29, 2026

The evening is a formal event which will take place at Infinity Convention Centre — Centre - 2901 Gibford Dr, Ottawa, Ontario, K1V 2L9.

It will feature a gourmet dinner, complimentary wine, silent auction, guest speakers, entertainment and more!

This year, the funds raised will once again be donated to The Mental Health Services at CHEO. The needs at CHEO are tragically real. They are in need of more inpatient services for mental health. They need to be able to tell more families, and more young people who are hurting, that they have a place at CHEO. With our help, CHEO will be able to improve the spaces and fund the programs and services the children and youth needs.

For more information visit: The Ottawa Mental Health Gala

Together, we can make a difference in our community and help end the stigma around mental health in Canada!

March 24, 2026 - A Special Briefing on Christian Persecution in Nigeria
10 am - 12 pm

Sylvie attended the Special Briefing on Christian Persecution in Nigeria

Nigeria is facing significant challenges to freedom of religion or belief (FoRB), particularly affecting Christian communities in the northern regions and the Middle Belt. These communities have faced serious threats, including violent attacks, abductions, and assaults on places of worship and clergy by various armed groups, including insurgents and bandits. Governance challenges at the state level, such as delayed security responses and a culture of impunity, compound these issues, undermining the protection of religious freedoms and posing risks to religious minorities. While the situation encompasses a range of complexities—impacting both Christians and Muslims—certain areas experience heightened targeting based on identity.

Presented in partnership with Voice of the Martyrs, the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada, Open Doors, and Cardus, this briefing offers space to deepen understanding of global persecution and to unite in prayer for believers facing hardship around the world.
