Born in 1972, Sylvie is a motivational speaker, and published author who lives in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. Sylvie is fluently bilingual in both English and French. Sylvie has studied in numerous medical backgrounds and is currently a public servant working as a Business Analyst.

 

Sylvie has been featured in newspapers (The Ottawa Citizen and local newspapers), radio (Rogers Communications), magazines and television (CTV News) and has helped many individuals through her workshops, speaking engagements, prayer circles, and through her publishing company (which has since dissolved - Crowdfunding was not as popular back in 2005) which had a goal to self-publish inspirational books such as Mimi the Angel and the Passwords book series.

Sylvie’s faith was instilled in her by her beloved grandmother at the age of five, who taught her how to pray to Jesus and God, read bible verses, and live a life rooted in prayer. Sylvie often accompanied her grandmother to hospitals and nursing homes alongside priests, where they prayed for the sick and the dying while witnessing miracles. Her grandmother always carried her bible and a favorite prayer book, offering prayers to Mary, Jesus, and God. To this day, that prayer book—now over 62 years old—continues to seep oil on its cover, something Sylvie considers a miracle and a lasting sign of the power of prayer she witnessed throughout her childhood.

 

Today, Sylvie continues this legacy by praying for individuals who submit intentions through the prayer form on her website and by personally bringing these requests to the Grotte Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes in Vanier, Ontario, entrusting them to Jesus and the Blessed Virgin Mary through prayer. God has recently called Sylvie back to pray for the sick in the hospitals, continuing the work she used to do as a child.

Unquestionable Faith: A Journey of Surrender and Divine Encounter

 

From the age of five through her late teens, despite carrying a deep sense of faith, Sylvie endured significant emotional and psychological struggles. During these years, the enemy gradually took hold of her heart, distorting her sense of worth and identity. Sylvie lived with depression, anxiety, self‑hatred, and low self‑esteem, while facing bullying, financial hardship, physical and mental abuse, and the lasting trauma of sexual violence, along with profound emotional harm. Over time, the cumulative weight of these experiences took a deep toll on Sylvie's well‑being. Overwhelmed by despair, Sylvie reached a breaking point and attempted suicide. 

 

Sylvie has experienced two pivotal moments of surrender in her life. The most critical surrender moment came in her late teens. It was after this suicide attempt that Sylvie surrendered her life to Jesus, committing herself to faithful service and to sharing his word in whatever way God would lead. During this sacred moment of surrender, Sylvie had a profound and deeply personal encounter in which Sylvie saw Jesus and his Sacred Heart, and where Sylvie experienced his mercy and forgiveness, an experience that transformed and filled her with overwhelming love, peace, and a lasting sense of divine purpose and an unquestionable faith.

Following her moments of surrender, Sylvie experienced two near-death events—one in her mid-twenties and another in her early forties—that took her “to the other side and back,". During these near-death experiences, she felt an unmistakable and loving presence of God, the angelic realm, surrounding her with peace and reassurance and deepening her trust in God's divine plan for Sylvie's life. Sylvie also visually witnessed what she believes to be heaven and the presence of God in both cases, experiences that left an indelible mark on her faith and understanding of divine love, molding her into who she is today.

 

After her first near-death experience in her mid-twenties, Sylvie encountered a profound divine intervention. Sylvie was visited by the angelic realm and told that she would work with God’s angels to bring love, peace, and encouragement to those she was meant to help, always giving full credit and glory to God. Through this experience, Sylvie came to recognize that God and the angelic realm had been present throughout her childhood, gently guiding, protecting, and preparing her for this calling long before she was consciously aware of it.​ During this time, Sylvie also began receiving audible angelic messages and experiencing angelic in-person apparitions and visitations in dreams. Sylvie initially struggled to accept these gifts, as they seemed to conflict with her beliefs and understanding of faith. Through prayer, discernment, and trust in God’s guidance, Sylvie came to recognize these abilities as God-given and has since been called to support others in their spiritual journeys by offering words of encouragement guided and channeled by the holy spirit and the angelic realm.

 

Sylvie has developed her skills by helping individuals understand their lives in challenging and stressful times since 2004. ​For many years, Sylvie practiced her faith quietly, fearing judgment and misunderstanding surrounding her beliefs. During this time of silence, she felt gently encouraged by the Lord to share her experiences rather than hide them. Sylvie has recently started sharing her inspirational messages through her social media and prayer circles to uplift and encourage others where she welcomes individuals of all faiths. By sharing her story, ​Sylvie believes it could help or inspire someone that may have gone through similar experiences. Sylvie's ultimate end result is bringing people closer to GOD and giving him full credit for everything. In all that she does, Sylvie prayerfully asks to be surrounded and guided by Archangel Michael, Archangel Gabriel, Archangel Raphael, as well as God, Jesus, and the Blessed Mother. All glory to God—always.

To this day, Sylvie continues to encounter apparitions through dreams, visions, and in‑person angelic visits. While these experiences may be difficult for some to believe or fully understand, they remain a profound and meaningful part of Sylvie’s faith journey and spiritual life.

​​Walking in Faith: Miracles, Mercy, and Trust in God’s Plan

​

​In 2021, Sylvie experienced a profound miracle attributed to the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. By praying fervently to the Blessed Mother and to her son, Jesus, for her mother’s healing, and through the devotion of countless novenas—particularly the Divine Mercy novena—Sylvie’s mother was healed and in remission from cancer after being mere weeks from death. Sylvie believes this was God's choice and intervention. It was during this time that Sylvie also experienced an apparition of the Blessed Mother in her dreams, during which Sylvie was given clear and loving guidance, strengthening her faith and trust. 

 

Sylvie understands that not everyone can be cured but believes that miracles can happen if Jesus and God allow it to be. Sylvie continues to pray for people keeping this in mind. Part of Sylvie's mission is to spread the Blessed Virgin Mary's healing story to those who need to hear it, help the less fortunate, and be guided by Jesus, God, and the angels on whatever path the divine has in store for her next. Sylvie has surrendered her life to God, feels deeply grateful to serve God as he sees fit, and has full faith that God will take her where she needs to be and meet individuals that will help her on her next steps.

Life is a spiritual journey—one that can bring profound and beautiful experiences, yet can also be challenging and difficult to understand at times. Sylvie knows this firsthand, having navigated many hardships and challenges throughout her life till this day. Through it all, Sylvie's faith keeps her grounded and rooted in God’s love. Sylvie believes that no one is ever truly alone and that a divine team is always present, ready to help those who are willing to ask. Grounded in her faith and deep love for Jesus, God, the angels, and the Blessed Virgin Mary, Sylvie believes that God works in mysterious ways.  

 

Through every season of suffering, surrender, revelation, and renewal, Sylvie’s faith has not only endured but grown stronger. What once tested her spirit has become the very foundation upon which her life now rests. Having walked through darkness and emerged with unwavering trust, her faith today is firmly anchored in God’s love, mercy, and sovereignty. Grounded in prayer and sustained by grace, Sylvie now feels called to share her testimony with the world, hoping it may bring comfort, encouragement, and renewed faith to others. Sylvie stands with a faith that is resilient, discerning, and steadfast—shaped by all she has endured and guided by a profound certainty that God has been present through it all.​
